Peach's Hot Chicken
The Baller Sandwich

When you build your brick and mortar store on the main street of Panmure serving craft beef and gourmet burgers, some might see it that you're taking unnecessary risk. When you're forcing people to drive upwards of 20 - 30min to visit you to sample your food, what you have to produce is nothing less than spectacular.
That's what we have at Peach's Hot Chicken, the food is simply stunning, specifically, The Baller Sandwich. If there was such a thing as a PhD in fried chicken, Peach's received theirs's from Harvard. The dish is simple. Perfectly cooked and spiced Nashville fried chicken served with slaw, pickles in a Brioche bun. But a dish this simple has nowhere to hide, you must execute perfectly. This sandwich is worth the wait. This sandwich is worth the travel. This sandwich will stay on your mind. This sandwich will scratch away at you until you understand, only a return to Peaches will alleviate that itch.
Not long after sampling Peach's Hot Chicken, I was lucky enough to dine at Sid at the French Cafe, a splendid evening it was of stunning flavours textures and colours, what a wonderous dining experience. But...it is still that Baller Sandwich which plays on my mind.
This sandwich is not to be underestimated.
