It is a classic and going in to Selera on Khyber Pass Road, you see everyone sitting down with a giant bowl of it - students, families, retired people, everyone. It's delicious! More Malaysian restaurants are around now but this was the first thing I had in Auckland that took me back to eating out at one of the many Malaysian restaurants in Melbourne where I grew up or even going and visiting relatives back in Malaysia.
