Spiced South Island Salmon

The salmon is cooked to perfection, whilst not taking away the natural flavours. The creamy mash and accompanying veges compliments the fish. It doesn't overpower it. The owners are 'hunters & gatherers' and I know that they love to fish. So seeing this on the plate reminds me of their passion and drive to ensure that there's balance on the plate from the sea to their 'home' - Porterhouse Grill. The owners are amazing! They have turned this restaurant around with their passion for food, customers and their community. So, so happy to be able to eat at their restaurant always!
