The first time we dined in, my daughter wasn't interested in anything she saw on the menu. The staff member recommended the chicken waffles which she kind of turned her nose up at, then the one of the cooks overheard so came over and made her laugh so she agreed to try it. Still unsure, we sat on the stools where we could see them cook. The cooks were so friendly, they conversed with my kids while cooking and made them laugh so they were excited to receive their meals. Every meal that came out looked divine and we couldn't wait to dig in. My daughter looked at her meal with a hesitant smile, she took her first bite and her eyes lit up! She was sold, the cook celebrated and gave her a wink. We still talk about it to this day and head there for a treat... highly recommend this joint.
