Ironically even though I live just around the corner, it was my dad who lives in Pokeno who told me I had to eat here. I’m hesitant to even submit this nomination - this unassuming hidden gem is deservedly already always busy, but I won’t be selfish, everyone needs to hear about this place. The generous serving of chicken laksa comes out in a deep bowl and no one looks at you sideways when you pick it up to slurp down every last drop of the heavenly liquid. Everyone understands, it is just THAT good.
