It's been amazing seeing Stan go from a secret IYKYK location in Rosebank Rd to a larger following in Kelston (now public) and now a new opening in Onehunga on the horizon! Stan and his small friendly team have worked so hard through two years of adversity of lease woes, new premises, Jimmy wrecking his back and of course Covid - through all this he's been driven enough to keep forging on, its pretty admirable. The entire menu is small but they put their all into every item - potentially the best pineapple fritters in Auckland - but those burgers are legendary. The burgers are simple but amazing highlighting the protein without overkill with loads of other burger fillers like some places - so hard to pick just one as I have two favourites, but since the Twice As Nice is my slightly more frequently ordered I went with that one. Now I'm hungry!!
