Hello Beasty is a New Zealand modern-fusion restaurant which definitely caught my eye as I love trying fusion cuisines. I grew up in a Chinese family in NZ and the classic prawn toast is one of my favourite dishes. Hello Beasty turned it into a surf and turf dish, which turned out to be amazing. Bread was crispy and soft, the prawn and crab mousse was creamy and the tender NZ beef was perfectly seared, everything went well together. It’s definitely a must try in Auckland!
