Growing up in North London, Caribbean food was part of the local tapestry along with bagels, curry and fish and chips. My neighbour in the flat upstairs was Jamaican and she used to make beef patties when we played with her son. There's been nothing like it here, until now. That familiar yellow and spicy pastry and all spice and chilli beef reminds me of the warmth in that neighbourhood. And I can't get enough of Grace's now.
