This is one of the first places my now husband and I went on a date to many a moon ago. We shared a chicken salad sandwich (toasted with cheese of course) and, whilst all the food is incredible, that chicken sandwich started a life-long affair with The Fed. We eat there at least once a month and that sandwich is still the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Its simplicity but perfectly pulled off taste hasn't changed at all, and through the pandemic it was the one thing we would talk about dying to go back for when it reopened along with the rest of the world. And go we did, back to the warmth and cosiness of The Fed, eagerly watching the chefs (another great thing about The Fed is being able to watch them do their magic!) whip up that glorious dish and being jealous each time the waiters would walk past and hand it to another table. The Fed has been a staple for us for many years and will continue to be for many more.
