I stumbled across Fatima's nearly 20 years ago and like many Aucklanders it has become an institution. I'm sure I have tried all their dishes and their potato Kofta's with Aioli sauce are a must but the Lamb Chawarma is the bomb. Recently they changed the bun to an offering from Wild Wheat Bread which just elevates it even more. Twice cooked lamb, crunchy lettuce and a magnitude of tasty sauces, 20 years later and they are still the best.
