Ever since I was a little girl I have been at one with the ocean, and am a keen fisherwoman. At Cocoro, it's such a luxury to sit and indulge in such exquisite seafood, freshly caught, expertly prepared, with full acknowledgement of the seafood itself. It reminds me of catching it fresh on the boat, and preparing dinner, time with my family, races to see who can fillet the fastest, and who can make the tastiest dish. There is something about the art of this meal without cooking at all that I just adore, hands down my most favourite dish I could have in Auckland.
