A cup of tea is a wonderful thing. Now, imagine having a cup of tea, several paired to multiple courses even, while facing the boats on the waterfront, the sky tower on the horizon, and Rangitoto in the distance. Few places have such a panorama to contemplate. With this setting, course after course of tiny morsels that use local and in-season ingredients tell the story of the time of year and our surrounding farms. On the occasion I visited there were tiny raspberries, sorrel leaves, pea tendrils, and beet gelees. Your visit will be different to mine because it's all about what's in season. The service and the view however will still be top notch.
