Hand on heart, Jamie and Aletheia who own Hare and Turtle, in my opinion make the best sandwiches in the city. Like picking a favourite child, its hard to call one of their made to order sandwiches out as the best. Personally I struggle to go past ‘Baloney’….. NZ Mortadella, Melted Provolone, Pickled Onion, Mayo, Dijon on their famous house made buns. Worth the trip? If we suddenly ran out of fossil fuel, I’d walk there for my H&T fix!
