I have been living in New Zealand for many years, and have recently discovered this donut - filled with pandan flavour and fragrance - a taste I remember before migrating to New Zealand. I had not seen this previously available in Auckland and was very keen to try it - I am glad I did - the flavour is so rich and reminded me of my afternoon snack growing up in Malaysia. They even had the sago pearls/balls mixed in the pandan custard - very tasty. I am nominating Butter Baby for this pandan sago donut as I hope they will continue to sell this donut flavour for us to enjoy and introduce this part of the Malaysian culture to the wider Auckland multi-racial community.
