It’s crazy to think about a year ago today my diet was insanely terrible, all I ate was beige food, carbs, sugar and fruit. I wouldn’t dare to touch any vegetables or anything you couldn’t get on a kids menu to be honest. The thought of a duck pad thai (in my head) should have been illegal. However one night my taste buds magically changed over night and it was the best day of my life. I suddenly wanted to try and experience every food I possibly could, even foods I couldn’t bare to touch or smell previously. Now eating out at restaurants and cafes is potentially my favourite hobby and I had even started a food instagram account just to share the delicious foods I eat. Tok Tok is one of my favourite restaurants in Auckland because the consistency and caliber of their food is just impeccable. My chosen dish is the duck pad thai which, at the thought of, my mouth salivates. I genuinely can't get enough of it, the flavour the texture and the amount - always enough for leftovers. My family adores this restaurant because there are so many things on the menu and we get to experience an array of their fantastic dishes - as much as I hate to share the food.
I am counting down the days until I can dine there for dinner again.
