I’m lucky enough to have lived overseas and eaten in Italy a fair amount. But I always missed NZ. When I moved home, this dish made me feel like the luckiest person alive for not only is it a great combination of flavours, the taste of NZ with green lip mussels and cockles is distinctly there. The service at Prego has been top class, which adds to that feeling that you could be anywhere. I’d like to note that I don’t drink alcohol when I’m out (Often driving myself), so the assessment is very impartial. I know their wine list is great but safety first. Well done Prego for such a great dish every time.
